IMRD Students in Córdoba

The International Master of Science in Rural Development (IMRD) is a joint study course developed by several European partner universities in the context of the Erasmus Mundus programme. During a two-year period, the international students have the opportunity to study the European vision of rural development in leading universities and research institutes across Europe.

The IMRD Association has been formed to contribute to information exchange, social cohesion and long-term contacts among students and alumni of the study course that are scattered between different locations around the world. Its main objectives are:

  • To maintain fluent and permanent communication among IMRD alumni as well as in between the universities of the consortium, student, alumni and professors of IMRD
  • To keep members informed about current research on rural development, further education and working opportunities
  • To create a meeting point for discussions about rural development and to promote the generation of knowledge and exchange of ideas
  • To create a platform for discussion for current students to exchange information about issues surrounding rural development, IMRD course and students life
